Many applications are subject to WSN, barely any applications require fast information move with next to no interference and a few applications requires the general throughput rather than the delay. It is entirely dependent on the program's requirements as to which parameters are required for its operation, as each application has its own set of requirements. This paper analyzes routing protocols on the basis of significant parameters such as throughput, delay as well as load on the network. The networks which have been used for experimentation are wireless LAN and ZigBee networks. From this study, we have found that the different protocols have different throughput, delay and network load in same network scale. Like in most of the cases, OLSR provides less jitter, delay and load on network as compared to AODV and DSR. DSR can have the highest of the throughput in large-scale network.
